Course participants will learn the various medical skills on how to medically treat a VIP/principal prior to and during a mission. In addition, students will spend time on the range working on shooting and moving skills while protecting the VIP/principal.
 

3. Bloodborne Pathogens, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS):

Worldwide, workers in health care related fields are at risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens, such as the    HIV virus and hepatitis B virus. Designed to meet the current OSHA training requirements, Bloodborne Pathogens was created for students and employees who have potential for occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials, and even has supplemental information on airborne pathogens such as tuberculosis.
 

4. Health Care Provider CPR, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS)

Specifically designed for health care professionals, including allied health workers, nurses, and physicians, this robust training program teaches the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and treat life-threatening respiratory and cardiac emergencies. This includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to care for a victim of cardiac arrest.
